Copying photos

The Society was recently fortunate to be allowed access to some family photographs from Mrs Gwen Coffey of Maffra. The one above shows her late husband, Gordon, in his 1920s Plymouth ute at Dargo, about 1948. 

Photographs such as this are wonderful as, although they are small, the Brownie cameras from which they came had excellent lenses, and they scan very well.

The collection also included the Willsmere Milk Factory truck of the late 1940s, which will be very useful for our Maffra Milk Trucks and Milk Tankers book that we hope to release in October.
