Federation Picnic

 

We had a delightful day today at the Gippsland Vehicle Collection at Maffra, for the Federation Picnic to end History Week. Highlight for us was finally releasing our Maffra Milk Trucks and Tankers  book - which is why we were delighted this early tanker made the trip all the way from Warragul. Special Thank You to Eric Shingles, for bringing it to Maffra.

Thank You also to Lenore Frost, Vice-President of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria, who came even further. Lenore in Conveor of the History Victoria Support Group (of which Judy Richards, from Stratford, shown on the right, is also a member). They are with the banner the RHSV provided to Stratford last History Week, with the support of the Vera Moore Foundation. Thank you to Lenore, adn her travelling companion Lorraine, for coming so far.
